Forty years restoring antique furniture on the North Shore

Mark McKee first learned the trade at Amish Furniture, then opened McKee Restorations in 1985. Forty years on, he still does all the work himself. Your pieces will not sit in a long production line nor be forgotten in a warehouse. The person who looks at your furniture is the person who repairs it and hands it back.

A chest built in 1890 was made from old-growth timber, with joinery designed to be taken apart and mended. Repairing keeps well-made heirlooms in use instead of in a landfill.
